Curriculum

The curriculum in use is that which is established by the National Department of Education; that is the competence based curriculum according to the Letter of the Directorate of Secondary Education Department of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia (Depdiknas RI) Nomor: 535/C4/MN/2002, 9 July 2002 re: the Agreement for the implementation of competence-based curriculum at SMA Lokon as well as curriculum and subjects which are elaborated at a regional level and by the school itself.

Extracurricular

  1. Goals
    • To channel student’s interests and developing their skills in the fields of sport, art and organization.
    • To support students in forming physically, emotionally, spiritually, intellectually and mentally strong personalities.
    • To teach leadership in order to build a sense of responsibility, to promote teamwork and organizing activities.
    • To familiarize students with their community and to genuinely involve them in the life of the community.
  2. Implementation.
    • Students should not over commit to extracurricular activities, but neither should they avoid them.
    • Extracurricular activities are reported in the report book
    • Activities which have been chosen freely must be followed through in a disciplined and orderly manner and not willfully changed.
