Vision
The vision of SMA Lokon is to create:
“ Cultured human beings who are civilized, academically geared,
well adjusted, mature, healthy, far-sighted leaders, faithful
and community minded with high morals and who show concern
for cultural traditions as well as for the environment.
Mission
- To form students with high academic ability.
- To develop in the students the ability to question,
to express their opinion and solve problems.
- To form students with balanced emotions, healthy
reasoning skills, who are wise and can make responsible
decisions.
- To build close partnerships with parents and other
parties in order to create a school community which
is open to the
participation of the community.
- To build a close and continuous relationship with
the Lokon Educational Foundation.
- To reinforce good morals.
- To motivate students to interact with each other
and to develop appreciation of human dignity as well
as socio-cultural
values.
- To ignite in students a feeling of love and concern
for the environment in which they live.
- To develop talents, interests, leadership qualities
and organizational abilities in the students.
- To stimulate the will and ability of the students
to always give their best to add to the functioning
of the school.
- Shaping individuals who maintain communication
with God.
Goals
To produce graduates with the following qualities:
- Self belief, intelligence, health,
mental strength, straight thinking, courage to face the
future, honesty, discipline,
high morals, social skills, solidarity and faith.
- High competence in Indonesian, communicative ability
in English and a passive knowledge of Mandarin and other
foreign
languages.
- Eligibility for entry into quality higher education
including overseas institutions.
